He never intended that His disciples should set aside all exercise of discernment or judgment. It is also important to consider the spirit in which we seek to correct someone else.

Even if we are not guilty of the same offense, we have been guilty enough of other offenses. We need to judge or correct another in a spirit of love, compassion, and humility.

But in The Freedom of a Christian , Luther says that you can tell whether a tree is good or bad by its fruits. A good tree that is, someone who has been justified by grace through faith in Jesus Christ will automatically bear fruits that are fragrant, delicious, and healthy. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Your Words are the Fruit Luke b. If that is true, it is more true that you are what you say. Your words reveal your heart. The things you say, and how you say them expose and unveil the condition and attitudes of your heart. I doubt most people realize this.If they did, they would be more careful about what they said and how they said it. Most people think actions reveal the heart. It is out of the overflow of the heart that the mouth speaks.
